http://boards2.sega.com/psu_board/viewtopic.php?t=88977SEGA of America's HQ will be undergoing maintenance for their electrical systems on October 11, therefore all PSU servers, SEGA websites and the official message board will be down. Maintenance is expected to begin at 9:00p.m. Pacific and will last for approximately 15 hours, though it could be shorter.

It had to be postponed until another date (sounds like their electric company flaked out on them at the last minute). Currently, no date has been given for when the maintenance should occur.
