It'll be interesting to see if the new LBs are gonna be OMGHAX stuff that makes non-MF techers even more useless (well, other than AT) or just boring damage boosts. The increase in base stat boosts for humans and newmans is nice too.

Hopefully the former. :>
I'd really love for these to add more targets or give the ability for the affected TECHNICs to hit multiple hit boxes on a single enemy. Or better yet, both!

On mirage blasts, I think it was brought up at another forum, but the animation they show above the character on the teaser site is actually just the SUV summoning animation. If they don't add mirage blasts, then maybe they'll give humans and newmans the technical "predecessor" to them. I could see them working it into the story somehow since mirage blasts are just units. Maybe... GRM is experimenting with summoning units for humans and newmans but they haven't discovered or perfected the technology that summons the mirage creatures. I don't know. Probably putting too much thought into it, to be honest. We'll find out eventually!

Yeah, I pointed the SUV Animation thing in EGS.

Though I'd be fine with it turning out to be SUVs, it would be a huge disappointment after waiting all this time for "something."

So MF can't use any of the new limit breaks. That's pretty lol... Appearently FT gets the LBs for Ra techs, WT gets the LBs for Gi techs and GT gets the LB for Nos techs.

This seems to imply at least the Ra techs work in PSO fashion now so these aren't simple weak ass buffs. Does ST really think this will get people to play other techers besides MF? Why not just give all of the techers access to these and fix the other reasons why people only play MF?

Such a disappoint. And from the screens I've seen, they look like they'd be so much fun to use! Oh, well. :(

* One bug fix this time. On occasions, the boss warp would not let you transfer to the boss arena after the boss had been defeated. (I guess it was really only an issue for folks who joined during the boss battle or for any stragglers who got left behind.)

No kidding... Here's to hoping that they won't screw it up with PSO2 at least.

Hoping for Sega not to screw up is like wishing for disappointment. On the other hand, no info for FOs have been made available for PSO2 other than concept art so I'm hoping that Sakai is putting a lot of thought into how to make FOs unique, playable, and fun even if the final result doesn't end up that way

Sure this is a company that felt it'd be an awesome idea to make a bunch of Svaltuses "minions" for De Ragnus and giving a boss an AoE spell with Incapacitate lv 5, but they have shown signs of improvement over the years. FOs on PSU are definitely a lot stronger than they were on PSO and PSPo2(i) has improvements as well.

But yeah, the golden rule of MMOs is that something's gonna get screwed up in some way or another. At least I have yet to witness a single one that wasn't like that.
